a Family built dream

Miss’d Tuesday Racing began with a dream—and a project that would span decades.

In 1996, the foundation was laid with the start of a Glasair III build, driven by a vision of one day racing at the National Championship Air Races in Reno. Over the next 16 years, that vision took shape, culminating in the completion of the aircraft in 2012.

But the ultimate goal still remained.

In 2021, that dream was realized as the team made its debut at Reno, bringing years of dedication, perseverance, and passion to the race course.

Today, Miss’d Tuesday Racing is proudly a family-run team. With the pilot at the controls, his son serving as crew chief, and his wife coordinating the operation, every race represents more than just competition—it represents a shared journey.

From a homebuilt aircraft to the national stage, this is what it looks like to chase a dream and see it through.
